In Good Company

Here are a few shots of my current work on display at Red Star Studios! It is  great to have the opportunity to show with this gallery, especially after working here as the gallery assistant during my time at KCAI. There is a wide variety of work to be seen and some big names including Don Reitz (pictured in one of the images below)!

AKAR”S 2012 Yunomi Invitational opened this past Friday, March 23, 2012. This is an online only show, with the option to purchase these wonderful cups online and have them shipped right to your front door. Please check out my work featured on page 3!

If you’ll be in Seattle this week for NCECA, please stop by Lillstreet Art Center’s booth during the gallery expo to see my newest work…. And for those in Kansas City, I just sent new work to Red Star Studios- available now!

Show Openings Coming Soon!

If you are in the area come to the opening of the “The Cup, 55 Artists: 255 Interpretations” this Friday, February 24 from 7 – 9pm at the Artcetera Gallery at the College of Lake County. I will have new pieces in the show in addition to the wonderful work by 54 more amazing artists!

New Year- New Shows!

With the New Year just underway, I already have a few shows lined up!

The first will be The Cup: 53 Artists, 265 Interpretations curated by Ben Bates. This show will be open February 24- April 17, 2012 in the Robert T. Wright Gallery at the College of Lake County. The artists participating in the show include:

“For Tea” Opening and Art vs. Craft!!!

I have a tea set on display at the Dubhe Carreno gallery in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. The show will be open until December 22, so there is still plenty of time to stop by and check it out! The opening reception was Friday night and  very well attended. Check out the website for a sampling of artists included in this show- they’re all pretty awesome!

 I would also like to remind everyone about Art vs. Craft which will take place Saturday, November 26 10am- 6 pm in Milwaukee! I will be one of 150 vendors. Please stop by and support the handmade, do-it-yourself artists!
